Man, you all are bumming me out :? South crack is another one I have been wanting to do. Good beginner trad route. Last time we were at the Sundeck, we noticed bee activity, so I am not surprised to here there is a hive. How did you plan to take care of the problem?

I hear you on the ant thing. I have that problem in my yard at home. They leave welts on me that will itch for a week. :shock: They are not as painful as the bees, but the reaction/itch lasts longer.

Once at Queen Creek, I was putting on my climbing shoes and felt a sharp pain in my heel. Thought it must be a thorn. Ended up being a bee! Fortunately, the heel is pretty insensitive so I was able to continue climbing or I would have been really irked :lol:

climblouisiana and I are gonna kill the hive on Beegee for selfish reasons. Mainly be cause their isn't to many good 5.11 cracks around Phoenix. And also for safety reasons....
