Everyone says rah rah to madrocks and 5.10's. I personally, can not wear them. The only shoe that has ever fit proper without making me hobble like that time we broke a fishtank and walked throught it, are Sportivas. I have 4 different pairs of them and I love them all. Well, one pair did stretch and I have a hard time sticking to smaller footholds, but that's not bad because they are the most comfortable and can be used for long trad routes.

I'm going to end this and say buy what f'ing works on your foot. I don't care so strongly enough to either side that its worth pitching a PETA fit over. Just go out and climb.
On a side not Bridwell is a bada$@, but just because he holds a high opinion of Mad Rocks doesn't mean I'm going to rush out and buy a pair.(They came out with those finger condom things for sport climbing-sticky rubber you put on your fingers so its easier to hold onto holds. Before I really saw their shoes I saw the finger condoms and that didn't help my opinion. Guess our relationship started off on the foot.) After all, I don't listen to the good old people at Consumer Reports either and they claim to know what best for me.
