my gym plays "milkshake" all the time. If they decide to be nice, and not tear me off the walls with bad hiphop, they throw yellowcard at my ears, which isn't much better.

In reply to: I was onsighting a beautiful slab climb one day (verticle sandpaper) and my belayer started singing I belive in a thing called love by the Darkness and I just about fell I was so pissed. She knew I hated that song so I yelled at her until she stopped and then had to switch the song in my head to comfortably numb. Luckily that gave me the concentration make it the rest of the way up. The Darkness is a great act. Just listen to the rhythm of my heart!!!!!!!

In reply to: Does anyone know what song Joe Simpson gets stuck in his head while on his way down Siula Grande in "Touching the Viod"? ...simply because that must have been the worst song ever. "Brown Girl in the Ring"

In reply to: In reply to: "He's Going the Distance" by Cake what's wrong with Cake? No doubt. This is actually my favorite song to have running through my head while on lead. It's so appropriate, and one part of it actually helps me to get my head back right when I'm sketched. "...Bowel-shaking earthquakes of doubt and remorse assail him, impale him, with monster truck force ...But he's going the distance!" Yeah, Cake rocks.

Ok, good...I was starting to worry that I would become a failure at my dream job as a lyricist

In reply to: how many songs can we come up with that have something to do with falling? There's a group called "The Badlees" who have a song lyric that goes "I have no fear of falling, but I hate hitting the ground."
