i don;t know if i would clip my sling to my harness while actually leading
sometimes you actually want to be able to swing things in front of you to see whats going on, that and i hate when things get caught up in my harness so i wouldnt want to do it on purpose.
but hey different strokes for different people.
i usually clip my gear sling top my harness when walking off to keep things away from the sensitive bits etc. that i definitely recomend
i have the astroman and it holds a ton of stuff, and if it fits its fairly comfy. for everyday trad. i had some issues with it rubbing my hip bone, but i think i fixed it
