Try scrapping both of your freshly pierced nipples on quartz as you’re pulling through the crux of a route…(Or, for that matter...just have your nipples pierced)

I'd totally agree with that. Got mine done a while ago... worst pain I'd ever experienced. Know the expression, "pain so intense s/he passed out"? Well... I almost did just that.
God, it hurt.
Recently got back into climbing after blowing out a disc in my neck (speaking of pain)... first thing that went was the nipple ring. No desire to leave it on the rock, thanks.
Ugh.
