Well I do talk a bit differently depending on who I'm around so I guess I can see that. I just thought it would take more than 2 months in NC to kill the accent. Shows how much I know.

I thought Haggisdonny was originally 'merican or sumpin'? Hence the lack of accent.
I've been in this country for 3 years now and still have a thick-ish accent... luckily... although when I do hear an Aus accent it's like music to my ears.
The wifey is so used to it, she hardly notices the accent now.
