Ah yes, the old trick of keeping ice to yourself. Iceclimbers are very bad for that.

Or maybe it just formed really fast or your idea if in and someone else's is very different.

I'm guessing territoriality.

Very soggy as new ice? Or soggy as melting out?

Soggy as in forming.
There was enough of it that it could not have formed overnight.
Pics?

Just one off my cell phone. Fergot the camera.

That stuff doesn't look very in. I bet that whole pillar would fall over if you tried climbing it. Unless it is a lot bigger than it looks.

Looks very chandeliered and not very well consolidated. Another day or so and maybe it will look better.
yeah it needs time. hence the reason i did not climb it. Did do laps on some other solid-er stuff.
Ah, so other stuff is in.

Don't be. It was thin, short, wet and unleadable. Highball boulder problem height.
Still a whole lot of fun.

Wine and migratory birds, but if just want wine you could just come visit me and Nathan in the heart of wine country.
wine would be a good reason for a trip.

Perhaps I can come up. Looks on schedule. *cries* I still haven't graduated. Frown soon maybe
Its not really a good time to come here for wine. They have a festival in the fall. We are normally away climbing so we miss the madness. I'm sure it is extra impossible to get through town when that is going on.

It is however always wine season here.
I didn't want to go there. That was uncalled for.

WHAT KIND OF SCREWS DID YOU GET?
I stated this clearly a few hundred posts back, but since you cannot be bothered to read it all, I guess I'll have to repeat it. 3 13cm and 2 10cm turbo expresses. $35 a piece.

WHAT ARE YOU USING FOR STICKIES ON YOUR TOOLS?
Not sure yet. Later today i will figure this out. Homework first.
Oh, I thought you got some more screws after that.Blush

Are you considering using grip tape? It would be grippy, but I would think it would wear out your gloves super quick.

The rubber tape I have on mine will probably need replacing this season.

my sister lived on the other side of buffalo for a bit. We went up for some tasting one time. It was pretty decent.

So, what decides the 'season' of wine? Doesn't it get bottled and age for a little while? Seems like there shouldn't be much change from season to season since all the bottles are old.

I've been using this.

Its at home depot here in the plumbing stuff. At Crappytire it is with all the other tape. I'm not sure what store would be the equivalent in the States. I guess it is kinda like Mal-Wart.
