curt wrote: No. speedycop wrote: Thank you for your time . You're very welcome. Curt I just want you to know that I love your posts. I always get the lulz. But yeah, dude, we're going to need a little more than this. All you're doing is traversing, and it doesn't look terribly difficult. Better yet, just have fun and stop worrying about what random people on the internet think about your abilities.

She's fit, light, and seems to have picked up some good technique for someone only climbing for 2 months. But, holy fuck, I'd rupture my own eardrums if I had to be around such a bubbly personality for any length of time.

Yeah Kid, you could be a contender. Keep working on the roof moves...try not to let your feet fly. Maintain the control.

kriso9tails wrote: Are you good? For having climbed for one year? I don't know. Are you happy with your progression? I don't mean to be trite, but it's a more important question in my opinion. You seem to have the basics of movement down pretty well, and your sense of balance on the wall seems really good, but you had almost no technique or control moving through that short roof section (and a few other spots as well). While it was interesting to watch you move so fluidly through most of that sequence, your climbing style seems incomplete. It's impossible to tell if this is just because you were focused on 'performing' that route a certain way, of it it's because you've neglected certain skill sets. You were also hauling through jugs the whole time, which reveals very little about finer points of technique and how far you've progressed. If I had to make an assessment, I think you probably have a fair bit of potential to work with, but I see numerous roadblocks for you to hit up ahead if certain aspects of solidly controlled, static movement aren't learned before progressing further. No. Fixed that for ya.

Like I said you need a sponsor. Call every climbing CO. and ask them to give you free stuff. Then tell them how good you are. Tell them you climb V11 and send them these videos. You will be traveling the world befor you know it.

What's with the Euro-Trash Techno Music? There are so much better techno out there...go old school...Kraftwerk. The climbing...not impress. You can do better right? And need to go the distance to climb on some real rock. I too live in area without rock, but I try to hit some at least once a month. Its totally different from the plastic. Keep working on your moves and get out there.

If you have to ask then you are either 1) Not good or 2) Lack confidence (See #1). Keep at it and think for yourself. You are the only one who gets to decide if you're "good" or not. http://www.vitarack.myshopify.com
