hey...
i am guessing that if you are meeting up with TR on monday and tuesday that you are hitting the road real soon. sorry we didn't get to re-visit a particular 9+, but i can think of a couple up in sinks canyon that will blow kampsite away. i will be in touch and hope to connect in sept. out in wyoming.

I'll be in touch before sept. comes around for sure, just dont get bent since I wont be in here for the whole summer, doesnt mean I am flaking out.
Sept. in Wyoming climbing rock and in the winter climbing ice.

Ron- What are you doing this weekend, I wouldn't mind going to the RRG on satuday, I think im meeting andy on Saturday night. I think it all depends on the weather.
Andy- How far of a drive is it from bloomington, from slade?

andy told me you might be going down to v.e. on saturday night. i can't leave bloomington until around 7 a.m. saturday morning. it takes right at 3 1/2 hours to slade...plus we lose an hour going down. i am up for anything, but i would rather climb outside in an area i know (like the red) or go with someone who knows a new area. i don't want to wedge on your plans down in evansville. you guys keep me up to date. p.m or call

no offense to andy but I would rather climb outside than in a gym any day of the week.
Ron- I dont know yet, but ill probably call you sometime today to let you know if Im gonna be able to go to the RRG on satuday. I have a big test on monday, It all kinda depends how much studying I can get done on Friday.

how can we make plans if you don't call? i sat by the phone in eager anticipation all night....
i think we should share gas to e-ville and meet andy. head down to kings and meet shank, just to see what it's all about. i, too, need to get back but sharing the gas bill is gonna help...

I knew you wait for me :cry: . But seriously I called you in the afternoon a few times and it was busy.
So I pmed Andy hopefully he will call me, I dont have his number after all.
As it stands im open to doing whatever as long as I can be back here by Saturday night. 10 at the latest.
Isn't there outdoor climbing near evansville, maybe we could climb during the day and you guys can do your thing that night and on sunday.
Just a thougt.
If I dont see you guys this weekend, let me know how it went and someone else bring the pain for me.

Since I HAVE to be back on Saturday night...
We both want to climb outdoors...
And we dont feel like waisting gas by driving separetly to Eville.
We decided to just make a day trip to RRG instead
Sorry for flaking out like this, its really not Rons fault but rather my lack of a job in BL., so I have to work on sunday in FW.
Hopefully we can all meet up soon, I still want to check out kings and im sure Ron does too.

i figured i would echo eric's sentiments. sorry...but at 2.15/gallon, i don't think either one of us can afford to not share a ride to e-ville. not to mention i was a little nervous about getting back real late on sunday.
i guess we are trying to get the most climbing bang for our buck, given eric's job in fort wayne.
have fun at your party andy and hope you guys tear it up at kings on sunday.
next weekend is out -- son's birthday party, but sunday the 6th (of june) i would be willing to drive down to kings if you guys were planning on being there. let me know

ok so Ron and I ended up heading down to the RRG its was a cool day, a little crazy but we dont need to go into detail. Nevertheless it was lots of fun, Ron brought the pain and I just felt it, in fact my fingers are still sore.
Can't wait to make it back.
So how was E-Ville for everyone?

i have considered writing a trip report about the events of the day. try to bring it all into focus. it's still a bit overwhelming.
