Baby is good. Delivery is scheduled for March 18th. Sooner if mother nature takes over but her real due date is 3/28 so they've already rolled it back some to avoid that, hopefully.
Ultrasound on Thursday so hopefully we will then get definative proof of whether it's a boy or a girl. Still no name either way. Mrs. Wide liked Sabrina but I just couldn't get used to it. Erica is a possibility as are a few others but nothing that says "That's it!' to us. :? I told Kim we can call her/him "Emanon" and hope no one notices...
Still have a bunch of work to do painting and moving stuff to be ready but making progress.
Trip sounds awesome. I thought you had agreed he needed a moniker better than "the Crush" at this point?

I use shoutcast. Streams through winamp but has hundreds of choices in every Genre you could think of. The country stations get a little repetitive after a while so right now I am in a trance mode.

Yay wide! :) Glad baby is doing well!!! Don't feel bad about the names - my bro & sis didn't have names right away when they were born. It took my fam awhile to decide (24 hrs for my sis and 12 for my bro!!!). :) :)
Two ladies I know have now had their babies - my friend had a girl, Hannah, and my cousin had a little boy, Owen. Hannah is in perfect health while Owen did struggle at first. He had trouble breathing and they weren't sure he would make it. He seems to be doing better now - he was in the hospital the last I heard and would have to stay there til he was eating at least 1 oz at a time. I'm keeping him in my thoughts and prayers.

Yipee Wide, that's right around the corner. How exciting if it were a girl with older brothers to spoil her. I always wished I had older brothers.
I do like Sabrina. What about Saffron, I always thought that was pretty (maybe too weird though for regular folks).
The Crush's new nefew is called Owen, super popular these days. I like the name Duncan for boys, not sure why.
My friend's sister is called Tiova (pronounced Toe-vva)..I always liked that name.

Yes, the Crush is my boyfriend, :gasp: but he'll always be the Crush to me in here. It's so cute he introduces me to people as his girlfriend. Makes me laugh. The trip to Austria is going to be rad but is going to break my bank. I'm just trying to think how I'm going to come up with that money before then... you only live once though. The words "I can't afford it" don't seem to enter into my vocab...
What a shit ski season we're having, it's so depressing. Any time they get snow it rains the next day and wrecks it, sucks.

BwAHAHAHAH. Take it from someone with two older brothers....the relationship ain't got nothing to do with spoiling. My brothers used me as their personal punching bag for about 10 years until I got big enough to figure out that boys really don't like being punched in the crotch (don't know why, it didn't hurt me..... :twisted: ) and that back in the days of boys with earrings I could make them cry easily by giving a good yank to their newly pierced appendages.
I wish your daughter all the luck in the world, Chad. Hopefully your boys will be better than my mom's.
Winter, hey. Been good. Been doing that W thing since the site's been down, not to bad in all honesty. Our ski season is actually decent, though I'm sure even your crappiest ski days are better than ours. We got that storm and have a bunch of real snow. Went skiing the other night and the temps got down to -35 with the windchill. It was coooooold! I bought a pair of goggles, specifically for that night.
My friends want me to get a house with them next year. I can't decide whether I'm excited about living in a big house with three other people (two of whom are guys) and sharing one bathroom, living in a really fun trendy neighborhood with good proximity to the city and horrible congestion and parking situations...or whether I'm dreading it. :roll:
My best friend goes into the hospital today for a kidney biopsy. I'm scared for her.
And that's pretty much it.

Kimmy, what was the age difference? Our girl ( ifshe is indeed a girl) will be 4 and 9 years younger. The 9 yr. old I am trusting will be no problem because A) he is really protective of his little brother. Hardly beats him at all. And B) he is gentle to a fault, to the point where I'm now trying to teach him it's OK to be a little aggressive. (If a kid on the playground pushes you, PUSH BACK! :twisted: ) So Him I'm not too worried about.
The 4 yr. old I'm not so sure. He's much more of a roughhouse kinda kid, doesn't think twice about whacking his 5 yr. older brother, so wondering if the 4 yrs. will be enough of a buffer.

well i had a nice lengthy email inviting winter down here to ski (1.5 hrs from Breck where the powder ain't so bad) and telling you all about my recent car break-in and how i cannot afford skiing now..at least not for awhile. but i lost it - damn 'net connection crapped out for a minute and natch, it was the minute i hit submit. boooo!!! :)

Maww, I would love to come skiing, but alas have no more time off work this year since I'm already using a week to ski in Austria. Maybe next year I'll be unemployed. (wishfull thinking)
Kimmy, don't do it, I hate living with lots of people (or anyone for that matter) bleh.
I mean I guess it could be fun, but could wear thin real fast...it's cheap though.

Yup. Although, traditionally, V-day is filled with chocolates, roses, fancy dinners, etc. Neither of us particularly like V-day - she was often miserable, and I didn't have much to celebrate - so we planned a V-day that WE wanted, instead of letting it get all commercial. I mean, how many people buy their SO ice climbing lessons and think it's romantic?? *snicker*

Yup Marge I just got back from Whistler. Yuck. Brown grass literally up the mountain, even the alpine is closed. People were watching the world cup with umbrellas. Might head to kicking horse this weekend, we'll see, snowed a meter there.
Tai, ice climbign sounds fun. Haven't got to go yet even though I borrowed tools from the Crush. Have to think about a nice surprise for him.
