Anyone know how to sling a Z Nailer? I'm not sure if thats what their called, but their the short (2-1/2 to 3in) Z pitons with two small holes on the side. Curious looking things, I have never used one or seen one being used. Just wondering how you sling them, what situations they work best in and how the hell you clean one when set. Just a theorist trying to turn his theories into facts.

they work best in piton scars when you have run out off the appropriote sawed-off size. sling them with a sling??? probly the thin stuff...or "supertape" as they call it.

In reply to: I've seen them rigged with a single strand of perlon (4 ml?) with a knot on one side and a small loop on the other. That's how mine are, seems to work fine, was thinking of the cable swage route but thought the flexibility of the perlon might be better in some situations.
