Me and my wife will be in Germany and Austria from 4/7-4/14. We were wondering what the weather will be like and if there is any bouldering around Munich. Any help would be much appreciated.

Munich is not exactly a bouldering mekka, no rock within an hour... and the indoor places are usually very crowded :|

There's a climbing area called "Konstein" maybe 1.5 hrs away (look for the city of "Neuburg an der Donau" for orientation). These are limestone routes, but hey, it's rock, you can always boulder the lower part.

Another option would be the area called "Kochel", which however is (almost) in the Alps, so April might be a little chilly. There's a guidebook, but only in German.

Thirdly, also south of Munich at the beginning of the alps, near the city of Rosenheim there's Sudelfeld (in German, but there's a topo for download).

Good luck,
Heiko
