Climber Erik Weihenmayer of Golden became the first blind person to summit the tallest peaks on each of the seven continents after reaching the top of Australia's highest mountain Thursday.
Weihenmayer and six other climbers scaled the 7,316-foot summit of Mount Kosciuszko Thursday morning, according to expedition sponsors.
