I will be in the area (toronto) for my brothers wedding and would love to climb in the Adirondack park october 10-12. I will be heading toward VT, so the 16-19th I will be up for either the gunks or adirondack, and then from the 24th on I could stick around the gunks or head for the Red River Goerge.
I lead 5.10s sport and follow 11s in Montana. I hear the ratings around the gunks are a little unique, so I don't know what I will be climbing there.
Can anyone tell me if it is ok to car camp in the parks (pull off the road and sleep in my car) or will the rangers be not so happy with me? :?

Right...The point of my previous post was that I am looking for someone to climb with! Let me know if you want to climb any of those days. :)
