I am trying to repair a trigger on my green alien ( don't worry it has been tested in a big way). I don't have a swager and have thought of two ways to fix it. Independent wires from the plate to lobes with a crimp on each end or a u threaded through a 1mm perlon sheath where it passes through the plate. Any thoughts? and what type and gauge of wire should I look for.

CCH told me they'd do such repairs for <$10. And they'll pull test it while they're at it. The only problem is the turn-around time, which can be a month or more.

I do have a swager and have fixed quite a few cams but i have a red Alien that needs fixing. It just seems too tricky of a job for me to tackle. Tiny little wires. Maby guitar string would work??
