I like both, but the "average" (if there is such a thing) boulder prob is my fav. Combo of technical and pure strength moves. I'm sorta tall, so sit starts can be a pain sometimes

a highball problem is simply stated a "high" boulder problem that you need "balls" to do seriously, a highball problem is a boulder problem that borders if not is free soloing.

I've only been climbing since mid summer, so, I don't trust myself on the highball problems. However, I enjoy the challenge of sit starts.

I just started bouldering after a few years of sport climbing, so highballs are more down my alley. I am really starting to like the sit starts though, as the strenght aspect of them is quite nice!

The best boulder problems ar the ones where you point to the wall and the beta is "go up". Highballs tend to be my favorite only because they bring the reason why I climb. Your only beta is "go up". All holds are on, and the goal is the top. You have to pay attention to your landing, if you have a spotter, it has to be a partner you can trust, you can use anything and any technique to get up. And when you get it, it's the most perfect feeling....
