Myself and my roomate are new to Colorado and would love to be pointed in the direction of some good bouldering. We were driving down Highway 6 today just west of Golden and figured that there had to be good spots there. What are some suggestions in that area or any other surrounding Denver? I understand your possible reluctancy to disclose such information but I would greatly appreciate it. Feel free to PM me some info! Like I said it is only myself and my roomate so the good spots will be kept a secret! Thank you in advance.

Depending on your abilities there's a place called Eldorado Canyon that has a few nice boulders. Flagstaff Road in Boulder, Castlewood Canyon south of Denver, Morrison west of Denver...the list goes on. Check out the guidebook Colorado Bouldering by Philip Bennefield. d.

I would watch out. People from colorado seem pretty reluctant to spill the beans on their favorite areas.
