I'm probably going to be attending CSU and because I'm out of state I don't know much about the bouldering potential near Fort Collins. Are there many good crags? Whats the frequency on people? Any input would be killer so gracias in advance.

I'll be visiting the in-laws in Fort Collins for the last week in October, and am wondering what the weather will be like- worth hauling my trad gear out? Could I make do with just my sport rack? Should I just resign myself to indoor climbing? thanks, Chris

Statistically the weather should be good enough for lower altitude trad climbing at least. But to the specific day it's hard to say. Week before last we had nice weather, my friend bought a ticket to come out and climb, and it snowed. Five days later the weather was fine again.

Yes.... This is a state where you can go ice climbing / skiing and rock climb in a t-shirt all in one day. Bring gear for whatever you want to do.
