lower the standards....i hear that! which is why it's 9 a.m., my take home final is due at 1, and i'm reading your post--although i could possibly be distracted by old episodes of junkyard wars... [ This Message was edited by: farasnyl10 on 2002-12-04 06:09 ]

just a little trick that I found writing papers. When pulling a last minute night-before deal, type all of the paper EXCEPT for the conclusion. I always type the conclusion the morning it is due. If you lay out all the information in the body of the paper, and then sleep on it, your ending statements will be surprisingly fresh. Remember: the conclusion is by far the most important part of the paper, and should be the strongest. cheers, Paul

I have a sub course to my photog program; it's called 'creativity' so you can imagine that the work load in minimal. We had to hand in a final project last Friday. Mine was a twenty page short story along with another twenty pages (roughly ten pages if typed) listing works that inspired me and what not. I had it all done a week in advance (which is usually a week earlier than I'd start). My notes along with the disk that the story was on were lost. The back up disk (first time I ever bothered with a back up disk) loaded into the 'a' drive funny and when I pulled it out that protective cover thing pulled off and scratched up the inside of the disk. Rewrote withing fourteen hours of submission, and it was garbage... but it was finished garbag (actually nearly finished: thirty pages in one night is more than I'm willing to do for such an assignment).

You went to school to get work later on? That's not right, and truthfully down right disturbing. I went to "school" to avoid legitimate work.
