Hello! I'm about to move to brooklyn and i was wondering if anybody knew about rock gyms in NYC. I'm about to graduate from UCONN with polysci and history majors and was posting for some possible hookups in NYC.

you have some boulders in Central Park and the only gym I know of is at Chelse Piers (sp).....Or if you have a car the Gunks are only 1 1/2 hours away

I don't think there are any places in Brooklyn to climb, unfortunately. Live there (here) myself and I think gyms in the city and bouldering in CP is about it, though once the weather gets warmer I'm up for scouting out potential locations.

Let me know if you find anything!
