Going to be in Australia from March-April. Still finalizing specific dates and plans, but will be traveling solo and looking for climbing partners. I plan on bringing a sport rack and rope.

I will be in the Adelaide area the week of 18 Apr. I've got a full rack and two 70M ropes.  What parts do you plan on being in?

I will also be in Ozzy land durring that time!
I think I will be in Alice Springs and Darwin Area.
There is some good climbing there I know.
I am in Australia working on farms so I did not bring all my gear. But I did bring my shoes!
If there is an extra harness I would love to come along.
Where are you all from?

I am flying in to the Sydney and will be around that area for a while, but looking to rent a car or van so I should be mobile. I will let you know if I am planning on being around that area during that time. Hopefully we can work something out.

I'm making plans to go as well in March, traveling alone. Isn't the climbing (Arapiles, Grampians, Tasmania) more around Melbourne though? I was going to look flying to Melbourne. Any reason you are flying to Sydney?

None other than I have some friends that live in Sydney I'm going to visit so I thought I'd start my trip there. I'm planning on renting a vehicle, maybe a camper van once I'm there though, so I will be traveling to wherever the climbing works out. There are also a few areas to climb local to Sydney and the Blue Mtns are close. Are you specifically going for a climbing trip or just traveling in general? My dates are March 14-April 19th, perhaps we could put some climbing plans together.
