Did anybody go and watch the comp? We did win lots of medal but all were on the speed event.O.k i do admit some of the climbers were very fast but through my eyes we were still way behind the asian,s top standard. Do you think that we should let the youth be kept dreaming with their easy win because the lack of competitors.? Some categories have only 3 and 4 competitors.

Well, climbing, especially indoors, is a relatively new sport in the country. But it's nice to see that we do have a good bunch of youngsters being exposed to these sort of events to build up their exposure & experience.

And talking about the comp, has anybody been to Genting recently? Have they already restored the holds & routes for "normal" usage?

Coz I thought of heading down there within this week or two, but it's no point if the routes are all still "comp routes!"

okay, was up at genting recently, and they seem to have taken off a lot of holds off the competition wall which makes it pretty much unclimbable for 95% of the population, and also a couple of the "normal" routes have a lot of missing holds.

a couple of interesting new routes, however, and im sure they'll be adding on more in time to come.
