This is my first post on this forum and I came here to hopefully find some stories or memories about my uncle. I'm hoping someone here has at least heard of him. His name was Eric guokas and he was a climber in the 80's. If you have heard of him or knew him I'd just like to hear about him and how he influenced rock climbing. Thanks

Not sure if you're a climber and know about some of the other sites that may have information? But here is a short piece from Alpinist:

I never met him. I worked with a guy in Boulder named Eric Doub who was one of his partners. He spoke often of your uncle and I was sorry not to have known him. In one of the very early Rock and Ice Magazines, probably an issue number less than 20, and it has a great article with some stories about your uncle in it, about coming of age in Colorado as a climber. Another guy who would remember your uncle was Christian Griffith, also still around Boulder I think.
