After about a week of work, perhaps 20 hours all together, I've finished the wall in my daughter's room with some help from Robx. Pix are below.

Thoughts about the process/post:
-No idea why images show up sideways and upside down
-Holds are from Atomick, Escape, Syrock, Metolius, scrap pieces of wood
-Have built a small enclosure for radiator. Still trying to figure out a way to pad it.
-You can never have enough T-nuts. I used 250, and probably could have put more in
-I put a bit of texture on the wall by mixing play sand into the paint. Problem is that it scrapes off as you smear on the wall.
-3/4 plywood is very heavy
-Wall is attached to 2x4s that are attached the the building's brick wall with Tapcon screws.
-I should have measured the height of the wall and left space to put bouldering pads _underneath_ it, snug to the building wall
-If you have a gallon of paint in your basement that's been sitting half empty for four years, and it smells a bit, it wont' smell any better after you put it on the wall. Had to paint over it with new paint.

From the photos the wall is dead verticle? Not a great angle for training (should be overhanging). Did you have to build the wall verticle?
Also, texture walls are not required, especially for a home wall. Again, home walls are for training and what do textured walls really do for you except wear out your shoes?
Finally, you need to learn how to rotate photos before you post them online.

Is the wall for training, or for fun time with friends? 8 and 12 seems to be more just for fun. What you could do is spice it up with some volumes, or just add some wall to the roof of the room, put some off angles, makes it multi dimensional. This is all a later project, kudos for putting it up for your kids!
