This is just a preliminary inquiry: I'm planning to visit a friend in Kentucky this fall and along the way plan to climb at Seneca Rocks, New River Gorge and Red River Gorge. I'd like to spend a full day at each. I'd like to do a few or several classic moderate routes at each place. I am wondering if there are locals who would be willing to lead me. Also, how hard would it be to just show up and find a partner?

The Red will be swarming with people in the fall. Just show up at Miguels and you will find people to climb with. If you like an older or more mellow atmosphere, camp at Lago Linda's. You can find partners there as well.
