you've gotta upload one of your own, and then there'll be a vote menu thing on all the pics that have voting turned on.

easy, click "photos" on the left of the frame or on the blue word at the top of the frame, between "forums" and "routes". Then, just search through them, and vote. Yo, but you would be really cool if you took a sec to check out the first photo I put up here and vote on it for me! Its under the bouldering section of photos and named "momento", let me know what you think. happy voting.

I found the picture but I can only add a comment. It's a cool pict. Do I vote by adding a comment? Do I put a number in the comment?

Depends.
Voting for a photo is an option that the submitter can enable or disable. If they disable it, they won't be selected for the front page, but it's up to them.
You have to have been a member for a week to vote, and you have to have submitted a picture of your own. Cuts down on the bombing and idiocy we used to get.
