hiya, i'm in chicago for december and i'm wondering if there is anywhere to go bouldering while i'm here?? if you could help out that would be great...

There are a couple of gyms depending if you are in the city itself or not...
Fitplex is one almost downtown and Vertical Endeavors is a great place out near Naperville...

if you have some time definitely check out Upper Limits in Bloomington. Its the best gym I've ever been to.

okay, thanks
if there is anyone who would be keen for a boulder sometime, i'm staying right near the city and it's always more fun if there is someone there to show you some stuff. i'm not real hard out, but am keen to give stuff a go.
plus...is it real expensive to go climbing in a gym here? i'm from nz so don't really know how the system here works.

HIDDEN PEAKS! Best bouldering in chicago hands down. Great people, great vibe, and killer routes. definitely check it out

I've heard that FitPlex is good for bouldering, too.
I go to VE regularly, and would recommend it for climbs, but not so much for bouldering (especially when you're close to the city).

hit up fitplex on wednesday nights. it's the shiz.
hidden peaks isn't bad either but i would start with fitplex.
