Kinda new to the area and need to go climbing before i loose my mind. Anyone know the area well....i'd like to go outside because this indoor stuff is getting expensive!!!

Hi, for convienience, try the Winooski But. It is off of Lime Kiln Road by ST Mikes. Before you cross over the bridge, park at a small pulloff, and walk along a path, past a fenced off quarry (there used to be bolted climbs in there) and down and along the railroad tracks. It is a 40 foot cliff blasted by TNT. There is enough there to keep you sane for a while, a few cracks, long traverses, and contrived problems. It does suck, but it is not a gym (F plastic). Also, there is some small stuff at Ethan Allen Homestead, by the tower. There is always lower bolton. Check out the route data base on this site. See ya out there.
