i put this in the love or hare topis but i want to see what more than just one person thinks so... would you rather be famous for what you do now and be known by the world and be forgotten in 100 years OR be nobody now and in 100 years be very respected and famous by the world... i would rather be known now...

RIGHT NOW! So I could know that what I am doing is noticed and appreciated by those in My world.I hope my fame would be for something good,if it was something bad,I still would want the fame now.I wouldn't want to go down in history as someting nefarious. Climb Happy Mitch

I would choose to be the nobody now and known 100 years from now. "We are not judged to be great by our accomplishments alone, but by the accomplishments of those whom we help." -(don't know) Leaving a legacy is more important than fame and fortune.

I would prefer to be a nobody now, but with the ability to enjoy life - and if I'm getting famous in 100 years??? Do you really care? I mean, 95% of us will not realize that anyway because we just don't live so long. It doesn't matter if you are a nobody or famous, if you enjoy your life. I just think, as a nobody you can enjoy so much more. But keep on trying. Ulf

Definatly later, I want to be rich yes, famous no. I like my privacy, and frankly being famous is not all its cut out to me (do you all really want to see me pee?) So yeah, later, that means that I did something worthwhile, not just acted in some damn movie. Steve

That's a toss up. You see, if I'm known now, then it will make me happy throughout my life. But later on, I'll be really famous and respected, and that would be really cool, but I would be dead, so I couldn't really enjoy it. I think I'll have to sit on the fence for this one!
