Do you like slabs? Overhangs? Vertical? Technical? Reachy? Crosses? Stemming? I work in a gym and want a small poll from the RC.com community. So tell me what you think! Please.

Generally I enjoy stuff in the corner. I like anything as long as it involves a lot of varied movement. When it's all said and done, I don't really care though, it's just working out after all, not really climbing.

Yeah indoor climbing is a poor substitute for real climbing but this is where I work and want to make it as enjoyable as possible.

Since indoor is (at least to me, anyways) primarily a method for training for outdoor climbing, I look for two things: techincal and endurance training. When I'm working a route outdoors, these are the two areas I think about most in terms of personal improvement. Of course, alot of it depends on what you're going to be doing while outdoors. Limestone pockets are pretty common in my area, so I enjoy seeing pocketed routes in the gym. Likewise, I don't do much steep overhanging stuff outdoors, so I don't do much of it indoors. To keep it interesting, It's really nice to see a good variety of everything, but I think it's really important to have your gym mirror the local climbing environ.

I enjoy arete's with a couple of heel hooks here and there. A good roof climb, too, those are fun. Indoor climbs with dynamic, but attainable reaches are appreciated. Keep it fun for everybody and every body type. Don't worry, winter is alomst over. J-tree and Bishop can offer outdoor inspiration in the meantime. Late, CF

one of my favorite moves: cross-thoughs. takes lots of chest/finger strength, and always feels cool.

Stemming and delicate mantles make for interesting climbs. Both inside and outside corners are good. It's nice if the gym has a good surface with features, and it's nice to have routes that only or mostly use the features.

I love having really dynamic stuff, including dynos on semi-steep walls.

I like doing steep overhangs and dynos. Maybe not so many dynos on the steep overhangs.

I like lead climbs on roof problems. Especially those that come with good jugs :-)
