I need to get a new pair of rock shoes and would appreciate some feedback/advice. I have of pair of fivetens', the womens black laceups, I forget what they are called. I love the fit but they are lined, so really hot in the summer. I would like to find another shoe that fits like that, unlined and with a board lasted sole. I have a small, narrow foot. Also I need a good shoe for crack climbing. Thanks!

Have you tried Boreal stingers? I wear Mythos, but if you like Diamonds you probably won't like mythos.

Are the dominatrix's comfortable? I need an all-around (first) shoe, and I was looking at those, Sapphires, or Mythos. I have really narrow feet.

I have a pair of 5 10 Sapphires and they are super great for comfort. i have a narrow foot, and prety high arches, and they fit my foot great specially in they heel which alot of unisex shoes didn't do for me. if you are gonna get Sapphires i would suggest getting a size and a half smaller, cause they are unlined and streach quite a bit. :)

Board-lasted shoes can be harder to find.... but are great for all-day (or multi-day!) climbing. Saltic has a board lasted shoe (Eso) that I've tried and like; Red Chili has Sausalito (haven't tried) and La Sportiva has a board-lasted shoe - boot style - called Mega Rock (also have not tried). Shelley **just noticed that you're from Tempe -- I have a shop on the border of Tempe/Mesa and carry the Eso if you'd like to try them on for size/fit. I'm not sure exactly what sizes I have right now, but when I get to the store I can check.... http://www.rockclimbing.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=57176

Evolv Bandit's are great all around shoes. And they can really take a beating. I love mine so much I had them resoled when they finally gave out. I have the new women's Rock Stars but I haven't worn them on the rock yet. Evolv makes a solid shoe. Okay Hilary, come and join the pimping

Mythos all the way...I loooooooooove mine too. Very comfy, they do stretch but since they lace up you can tighten them to a comfortable tightness. xcaliclimber...I know what you mean. I know...
