Did anyone go? Did you get rained on? Did you climb? How was the concert? How was the slideshow? How was the comp run? Was it fun? Who won?

I heard that the turnout was low. ~15, Just what I heard. I think that the rain held off. I did not go. Concert? From what I heard the slide show did not really fit the audience. (Pics of cracks, audience of boulderers) ? ? Some punk kid from Fayetteville. :)

The turnoout was kinda low I would say around 20 or so. The rain kinda held off most of the day. Things weren't too wet. Kinda misty and drizzly though. I did not climb in the comp. I spent the day getting a few routes in. I had a good time over all. The concert was freakin awesome. I really had a blast there. The slide show was cool. It was neat to see pics of alot the places around the south but after a few states, the all started to look the same. I won a X-large black DMM shirt and a chalkbag and some chalk and of course stickers in the raffle. All in all it was good except for the weather.

Did anyone go? I went. Did you get rained on? Yes. The whole weekend. Did you climb? One problem, in a cave, couldnt topout because of rain. How was the concert? Heard it was really good, if you like that band... I didn't go, but my friend (who likes the band) loved it. How was the slideshow? see above post. How was the comp run? well... only 10 or so of the more than 30 climbers who showed up actually "competed" since nearly 85 or 90 percent of the problems were soaked. The plan was to earn points based on best 5 combined problems (150+ to choose from), highest total wins. Was it fun? All things considered (4 inches of rain, car trouble, lots of gas money), it could have been much worse... I love the idea, but planning anything during spring storm season is just a futile effort. This would be awesome in June or October when its still cool outside, but not so wet. The slackline int barn loft was a nice concelation. Who won? don't know.
