Hey, i am trying to plan a trip to souther cali during the next week. Mostly i will be hanging around the San Diego area. I dont want to head much farther north. I can get the topo for any climbing area in that area, but i have never been to them. What are some of the better areas? I am looking for mostly bouldering, but some sport would be cool. I think this thread is in the right place, sorry if it isnt. Thanks for the recomendations everyone!

if you want bouldering, check out mt. woodson for sure and maybe santee boulders if you don't get enough there. there's plenty of sport to offer in sd. dixon lake, valley of the moon, culp, descanso, lawson, and the ever famous mission gorge. i'd save that one for last though...if you have time. there's even more than that, check it out in the routes section under san diego. have fun,
