I was climbing at Suicide last pm and got my rope stuck while pulling it off The Flakes of Wrath. It was pitch black and although I had a headlight climbing back up to remove it didn't seem to be an option at the time. I had to be back in San Diego to work at 7am, so staying overnight and retreiving it this am wasn't an option either. I acknowledge that this rope has serious booty potential. If you want to obtain it as booty then I can tell you that it's a great rope; it's a Mammut that has taken a handfull of sport falls and no long/serious falls. The sheath is in good shape with no cuts. It would be worth a bunch of beers (good ones) to me and would be great karma to anyone who has the generosity to unstick it and leave it at Nomad Ventures since I won't be able to make it back up for a few weeks. Climb hard!

I will keep them crossed. The Flakes of Wrath is a stellor climb as is Johnny Quest right to its left if you decide to go to that area. Have a great day climbing.

Done Johnny Quest, not Flakes of Wrath. Really looks cool. Have you ever linked the two? I got my eye on it, but want to bring twins. Otherwise you would have to extend the last piece before traversing so much that a fall would be........fun. Go Flakes of Quest! I know the flake that your rope might be stuck on. Saw a guy have one get jammed in it, and as the sun went away the flake cooled, constricted, and I left while he was pulling out the knife......... Hope its there.
