Bishop or Horse Pens in March?

Can't Post

Ok, here's the senario, I've got two weeks in March to go to either Bishop or Horse Pens 40. The Bishop option means I'll be driving from home, Squamish, so I'll have a car to vehicle to camp in. The HP40 option involves a bus ride to Seattle to get a cheap flight to Alabama, obviously I'll have no vehicle once in Alabama. I've been to Bishop a bunch and know it well so that would be the safe option but HP looks great and I love sandstone. I'll be with some friends in HP for the first week so I need advice from people who have been to HP, without a vehicle, about the logistics of getting back to the airport, food, etc... as well as what to expect as far as temps, weather, night time temp.

Please advise me! My future climbing trip is in your hands.

Thanks,

Dis-Enchanted by the rain in Squamish.
