We were BOULDERING at the Bachar Boulders, pre-crash pad/attentive spotter days.
One guy was pretty high up on a problem and shaking like a leaf when he yelled over to us "Watch Me!"
My friend replied " Watch you what, hit the deck"

anyone catch that petzl (I think?) video a few months ago where the french guy talking to the camera man and pulling up slack to clip the anchors broke a hold and yelled "leeeepooooooteeeeeyyyyoooooooo!"
someone needs to find it and watch the sceen to translate for me...
I about split my side laughing.

A guy I was climbing with a few weeks ago slipped while pulling a roof. He yelled SHIT TAKE all at once, or SHITAKE. He is an asian guy, I thought he was talking about mushrooms, so I yelled back CREMINI.

about a year ago i was doing a 5.8 with a high first bolt at Red Rocks and as i approached the first bolt from the side a foot hold broke and i fell 25 feet to the deck. while falling i yelled "FALLLINNGGG" at the top of my lungs, like my belayer could have done anything.
not said while falling but my friends didn't let it die for a while: i was on this route at the Red River Gorge and i suddenly realized i was at the crux. i tried some stuff and then finally went the way that seemed logical although tough. i hit the first hold and yelled "this thing sucks big fat monkey cock" and then down climbed to my previous hold. it was pretty funny.

on one of my first attempts at leading a 5.9 at Rumney I bailed at the crux shouting "HOLY FUCK ME RUNNING!" my belayer and I laughed about it for a while.

Working a route, my buddy and I were taking 30+ ft. whippers going for the last bolt. I said "here I go again" that was last autumn, I think Charlie is still laughing.
