Many of us are already aware that the Phoenix Bouldering Contest was cancelled for this year...not to worry, There will still be a great outdoor bouldering comp for all to enjoy, just a few hours south of Phoenix at Cochise Stronghold...

So iLL Holds proudly presents the 2005 Beanfest Bouldering Competition. For all you squares and suckas who have never heard of the beanfest, here's a little history...

The beanfest is a Southwest Tradition That became the foundation for the PBC. Generally, it is held twice a year in cochise stronghold where climbers can come together to share stories, Laugh, and enjoy adult beverages in the desert. Most years, there are excellent games and contests for all to enjoy, However the Beanfest Doesn't usually start until the early evening.

This year, due to the cancellation of the PBC, we can all still come together and enjoy a great day of Bouldering and Comraderie in the desert...All Levels of climbers are welcome, and the best part is...Its Free!!! that's right, you don't have to pay a dime to compete, and you can still win fabulous prizes provided by Summit Hut and So iLL Holds...

Details:
When: Saturday, April 30th, 2005
Where: Cochise Stronghold, East Side (For directions, check out drtopo.com for a great map.)
Registration Begins at 10am, Climbing occurs from 12pm to 5pm, Huge party begins after the boulder comp ends, party ends when you want it to...
