I'm a newby.... in Knoxville TN. Been climbing for about a month or so... inside... Nashville, Atlanta, Knoxville.... outside, Looking Glass;NC, Black Mountain, any climbing clubs around or how do I hook up with new partners? :P

ITINERARY
Day 1 :Arrival in Kathmandu and Transfer to Hotel
Day 2 :Necessary preparation for the expedition.
Day 3 :Fly to Lhasa Flight and transfer to hotel (Flight Sunday & Tuesday Only)
Day 4 - 5: Lhasa sightseen.
Day 6 : Drive to Shigatse
Day 7 : Drive to Tingri
Day 8 - 9: Cho Oyu Base Camp (Deposit Camp)
Day 10-11 : Advance Base Camp
Day 12-37 : Climbing Period
Day-38 : Trek back to Cho Oyu Basecamp (Deposit camp)
Day 39 : Drive to Zangmu
Day 40 : Drive to Kathmandu
Day 41- Sightseeing in KTM.
Day 42 : Extra day in Kathmandu
Day 43: Final departure.

The above given cost is directly from the Russian Poisk Company. Regarding the order of the above item, We would further like to let you know that the above items will be specially certified by the company themselves with a gurantee letter. The oxygen that we buy in the local market is much expensive and they do not have any gurantee.

Ang,

Hit the gym in K-ville. Hopefully, you'll meet some people to climb with. Also, head out to The Obed (solo or with a friend). Check out South Clear Creek and Lily Buttress. You may make new friends there or at least you should be able to catch a ride on someone else's rope.

The University of Tennessee has a climbing wall in the HPER bldg go Mon.-Thurs. between 4 and 6 and you should find someone to help you, or go to the Climbing Center on Sutherland Ave. Plenty of climbers around. Good luck.
