Hey everyone, I spent a day up at Val David yesterday, and for the most part it is still wet wet wet. Found some dry climbing though. What's Rigaud like? Orford? Montagne D'argent? Weir? Let's help each other out. Cheers, Nik

Hi tallnik, do you have any conditions for the boulders at Mt. Condor? Is it climbable? Thanks...

Hi there, Rigaud is mostly dry, but quite cold in the morning shade. The center wall comes into the sun around 1:30pm, so don't show up early if you mind cold fingers. I have heard that Mtg D'$ is climbable in the morning, but that there is a lot of snow melt in the afternoon. Weir is in full summer conditions on many routes. It's dry in the winter, and still dry now. Julien Labedan, my new favorite is quite dry, I was there last friday rock climbing, and 100m away there was a party of ice climbers. The aid climbs of Mt. King at Val-David are good to go, at least partway up.

Some of the bouldering at La Bleue was good to go, but a lot of the sit starts are still snowed in. How many routes are there at Julien Labedan? Cheers, Nik

Hello again, There are about 20 routes (many variations possible) in the dry section. The climbs are mostly hard sport or mixed (bolts and gear), Good top rope setups are possible as most climbs have bolted top anchors.
