I've just been sent this link by a friend:



Irvis, Sarken and Vasak models of Petzl crampons apparently have slightly
dodgy "anti-botte" (you know, the plastic bit that stops the snow sticking
to them) plates that don't quite work. Petzl in France (at least) is
organising free replacements in "your ususal store".

The CM antibots never worked. My M10 plates sucked. lasted a few weeks. I never sent them back although I intended to.

I now use soda bottles wired on and covered with duct tape. This setup has lasted my 10pts a whole winter. Totally bomber, light and CHEAP.
