Hello, I've moved up to the Twin cities recently and I would like to try some of the climbing venues in the TC area. The problem is that I don't know any. Can you suggest any indoor/outdoor climbing places in the TC or nearby? Thanks

Hey stric - check out minnesotaclimbing.com (pardon my techoidiocy - don't know how to link it!) There's quite a few of us, usually someone climbing at one of the local areas every weekend. We're a fairly friendly bunch - get on the site, state your case, I'm sure you'll get invites / offers!

You don't even need to go to minnesotaclimbing.com. Check out the routes database here on this site. PM me if you want to go sometime. We are usually out Saturday and Sunday and a couple times during the week. Its nice to have Top Rope and Trad area's like Taylors Falls and really hard sport area's like Willow River so nearby.

Where is Willow River located? (city) I've never heard of it, but would love to hit up some hard sport in the Minnesota area when i'm home every once in a while.

Willow River is actually in Wisconsin. It is a couple miles north of Hudson, WI. It's really hard and really steep, but a short drive from the Cities. (only about 20-30 minutes from St. Paul depending on traffic.) Check it out in the routes database.
