Hey everyone! I'm heading to the isle of Jamaica for some R&R in a month. I have been looking online for some info on where to climb there...but not much luck. Does anyone know of info that could help me out? ANY info would be great! Thanks.

I don't have any info for you but thought I'd post to move this closer to the top as I too would be interested to know of any climbing areas on Jamaica...

Hey!
I'm staying on the cliffs in Negril from July 5th-12th. We also, plan to go to Mayfield falls, and do some general touring.
If I don't smoke too much ganja, and forget, I will post some info when I return!!!

mtngeo...If you look at a topo of Jamaica you'd notice that it is basically a mountain top poking out of the ocean! Jamaica seems like a perfect place to climb...that is why I want to climb there!

Well, I'm back from the 3rd largest island in the Carib with no luck of finding climbing spots. We saw a few cliffs, but nothing worth trying. Although the trip wasnt a total loss...we scuba dived and saw eals, turtles, lobsters, and other cool stuff. Horses on the beach was fun too! So if you make your way to Jamaica...no climbing-but who cares it still rocks!
