Thanks I'm climbing inside on Sunday at the Boston Rock Gym. It's gonna be too frikken wet to climb outside. It's also going to be too frikken wet to ride my bike, as it would damage the trails. Annoyed? Yes. T

Sundown has a really sweet route called Eyeless in Gaza? or something like that, that stays dry in any weather. It's probably the best route of it's grade in New England and is worth the trip. It's also really pretty up there.

Sundown is on the Kanc near the covered bridhe CG (about 10 miles west of Conway). Eyeless in Gaza, Romper Room, Dykenstein (sp?) are all routes you and Josh would like. Some good trad and mixed roputes there too. I'm not convinced things will be totally dry in a total monsoon though.

It's not NW, but we're going down to RRG for the weekend I think, and it's supposed to mid 80's, low humidity, and not a cloud in the sky all weekend long.

I've been on Eyeless in a full on New England thunderstorm/ spring rain shower, that ended up lasting for two days, the route never got wet or seeped. It's a gorgeous route too. It should be in the White Mountain guide.

Yeah, Rumney takes forever to dry and since it going to rain tomorrow too, there is no way Rumney will be dry on Sunday. I think its rainning everywhere... and where did this cold front come from here. I just can never understand... Tony

I'm not convinced things will be totally dry in a total monsoon though. Eyeless will be bone dry, guaranteed. It will also be crowded, since there is little else to do in the rain, and it is popular to run laps on. Romper Room and Dykenstien will be wet. Another option is the 1st pitch cracks on the Cerberus at Cathedral. They'll be dry, but also busy. -Nubbler
