I have only been climbing outdoors a few times(indoors a lot) but Ilove it!
I don't really have anyone I know who is experienced enough to take me.
Therefor, I'm looking for someone in the albany, ny area who would not mind taking me for a climb.
I'm a fast learner and I try my hardest.

Dude, don't be an ass.

To the OP - some information on your experience (belaying, lead belaying, etc) would be helpful for prospective partners.

Cheers,

Tai

I dont think JoeForte was trying to be a jerk! I just think he meant that what you said was cute ( which it was ) and that he admired that you do try your hardest. And about the chapstick part....uh....I dont know what that meant..........

Wow, sorry for offending anyone, especially Albanygirl. I seriously did think it was cute. I climb with this short spunky girl, and it reminded me of her attitude (I can do anything). I love the way she climbs. I swear she's only a solid 5.7 climber, but I've seen her get up 10's using raw determination. Albanygirl, keep that attitude... It will get you way farther than big muscles or expensive gear. I made that post because I admire people like you, and it's an attractive quality. As for the rest of you guys.... lighten up. Not every thread has to be a WAR. Thanks for the help Jon.

My partners all bailed out on me for this weekend in the Gunks. If you're up for a day trip on Saturday, give me a ring. I'm a patient partner / teacher. You won't learn any sport technique from me, just old school, trad ethics with a vulgarian twist. I don't really care what grade I'm climbing, just wanna be up there on the cliffs.
