What is the best shoe for "Morton's Toe?"

I have a Morton's Toe, which means that my second and third toe are longer than my first. This makes buying shoes difficult.

I bought a pair of Sportiva Flash and they are too excruciatingly painful to wear for more than 10 minutes.

Which shoes do you think would be the best fit?

Thanks for any advice.

Courtney

Try Montrail's Splitter. It was designed for Morton's toe. I started out in a Kahtana, which killed my toes. Switched to the Splitter and am happy. It's a good, basic shoe with great stickiness.

I also have Morton's toe. Basically, you need a shoe with a less pointed (more rounded) toe. In addition to the shoes already mentioned, I have had really good luck with the Mad Rock Phoenix shoes, and more recently with the LaSportiva Tradmaster shoes. Good luck.

yeah, sadly, a more square toebox is required for those of us with Mortons.

anyway, i've had good luck with the Mythos, Huecos, and the Boreal Equinoxes.

i've heard rumors of Evolv creating a shoe with Mortons in mind....so maybe that may be a future option.

I have the sameproblem so i started with phoenixes which fit perfectly but i think those shoes kinda suck... right now i use macassyms and though they crunch my second toe they kick ass and i've learned to dealwith it....
