Several different kinds. I wait for quality draws to go on sale. I've got hotwires, positrons, and truclips.

My sport draws are whatever 2 dozen biners I booty off my trad rack, plus 6 short, stiff dogbones, 4 longer ones, and 2 of the mammut skinny slings. The biners are usually neutrinos for bolt end (got 'em pretty cheap, if I were buying new now I would get nanos), OP 5-0's for the rope (clip well and I have big hands), or hotwires anywhere (just great biners). Why do you ask, looking to buy a set?

I find it funny that when I started climbing, I bought a bunch of quickdraws for sport climbing. When I was doing routes, I saw people climbing with draws made from sling and biners. I use to feel sorry for them, thinking that they could not afford new equiptment. What a nOObish thought! Now I prefer building my own and only take the QD's when climbing sport.

Same here, I have 10 of them! I also make my own sometimes when I need more using runners, webbing, or slings. Tony

Vital answer! Thanks for wasting my time with your vacuous subject line. I hope that my vacuous response wastes a little bit of yours in return.

In reply to: What kind of quick draws do you have? BD, Metolius, etc....and why....cost? function? I made my own out out of the new heliums with 24" 10mm dyneema loops for trad, then I also have the trango superfly draws. I like the heliums a lot though.
