As I was working hard to retrieve my quick draws from a just slightly overhanging route, I thought of a nice idea which can make it slightly easier. After a small search I did I couldn't find it had been posted before, so here it is: Take a cord, about 50cm long tie it as a loop. While you're on the descent grab the draw and insert the cord to the bolt's eye. hold to both sides of the cord and pull yourself to the wall, taking the weight off the draw and on to the cord. retrieve your draw and release one side of the cord. Of course that on a bigger angle overhanging route that trick can't work because you can't even get to your draws. someone has to climb top roped after you and undo the draws. Eyal
