Often times we get an indian summer. Which (other than being politically incorrect) means that we get a spell of about two weeks of amazing sunshine.
Also check out the site www.weatheroffice.com for seasonal norms for the area.
In a nut shell you might have a great visit or you might find yourself skunked. I am heading south at that time to california in the hopes of finding some guaranteed nice weather and climbs. Any suggestions?
