I am looking for a climbing partner anytime through October 21 to climb at Hoot Bluff, Wild Iowa, or any other nearby recommended areas. I don't care how strong or weak of a climber you are, as long as you like to climb and can give a dynamic lead belay and a soft catch.
my cell is 503.939.8930, I'm from Portland, but I'll be staying in the Maquoketa area for the next four/five weeks.

I will be making a day trip to eastern Iowa sometime in the next few weeks, and would love to get together and climb. I'll give you a call when I know when it will be.

Your best bet would probably be to go to Pictured Rocks on Saturday morning and hope that someone shows up to climb that day. Since it is the best season and school is in session you will likely run into someone who will climb with you.
