Check out the post for "SoCal climbers, sign up here". Over 100 climbers have signed up so far. Let's do the same thing for our area. Suggest you give: Name? Where you live? Where you like to climb? Type of climbing and climbing level? Age? Availability? (off weekends, etc) Any additional comments? To keep things easy, let's use the above format. (Just cut and paste these questions onto your post and fill in the blanks)

OK, I'll bite. Name: Celeste D. Where you live: Rohnert Park, CA Where you like to climb: Lover's Leap, Donner Summit, Yosemite (when I can get away). Locally - St. Helena is fun and the parking area is only 45 minutes from my house. Type of climbing and climbing level: Only climbing regularly since June 2005, have a few beginner (5.6/5.7) trad leads under by belt (Lover's Leap mostly). Been hitting the climbing gym 2-3X a week, seeing good improvement. Top tope/follow limt around 5.9/5.10 - depends on what type of climbing/how strenuous. Age: 36 Availability: Weekends, mostly. Any additional comments: I have a lot of shiny trad gear that needs to get some more scratches on it!

Name? John T. Where you live? Napa Where you like to climb? Bay Area, Tahoe, Yosemite Type of climbing and climbing level? I’ve been climbing off and on for 30 years. Currently I’m in an “on” phase, having moved to Bay Area from Florida a few years ago. In prime (1980) could lead 5.10+ and follow 5.11+ Trad (Sport didn’t exist then, so I’m definitely “old school”). I’m training hard to get back into shape, with the goal of climbing better than ever. Don’t see that as a problem, given the advances in gear (can you say “sticky shoes” and “cams”), and the fact that I’m actually “training.” Can comfortably lead 5.9 Sport and 5.7 Trad, and follow several grades higher. Age? 48 Availability? Weekends, with the occasional weekday Any additional comments? Safety is very important to me, as I promised my wife I wouldn’t get myself killed. I’m open to pretty much anything, but multi-pitch climbs are what I always enjoyed the most.

Name: Tom Sex: One kid and another coming.. so yeah. Where you live: Monterey Where you like to climb: Sierras, T-Meadows, Valley, Joshua Tree, Pinns Type of Climbing/Level: Trad 10c +/- a letter, getting more into boudering, Sport- not sure what grade. Been climbing for 13 years. Age: 30 Availability: I am available on weekends. During the week is possible but needs more planning. Additional Comments: Main partner just moved back to the East Coast. Have regular partners but always willing to hook up with others. I have kids as well so people with a family that would be into going cragging and sharing belay/babysitting time in groups would be pretty cool.

Name? --- Kathy Harsh Where you live? --- SF Where you like to climb? --- no idea. I just moved here, from Boston, a month ago. I havent touched rock since August, and I'm fiendin' over here. Type of climbing and climbing level? --- interested in all kinds. Can't really boulder for $hit (v1). I like trad the best. I follow more than I lead. Leading 5's on single pitch, 4's on multi-pitch, can follow 9's. Sport - lead up to 7. Follow some easier 10's. Age? --- 24 Availability? (off weekends, etc) --- weekends, could possibly take a day off here or there. Any additional comments? i'm just dying to get on some rock. Is there anything within the city limits here?

Name?Chris Bellizzi"The Raven" Where you live? Saratoga in an energy efficient Solar Home Where you like to climb?Since I've become so busy running a business I only get short 1 or 2 day trips to Sonora Pass,Table Mountain incl. Type of climbing and climbing level?I climb 5.12-5.13 sport and up to 5.12 crack. Age?Just turned 45 Availability? Climb mostly weekdays(WED,THURS) with occasional Sunday Monday's.Almost never on Saturday Any additional comments? If anybody needs a quality Tree Service in the Southbay area Bellizzi Tree Service is it.
